Shunnay started with the Foundation in 2010 as Executive Assistant. In her current role, she is the Grants & Giving Lead where she oversees the Grants & Giving process for the Foundation and builds relationships with area nonprofits. Her prior experience includes Site Manager for the Calera Nutrition Center under the Southern Oklahoma Nutrition Program where she oversaw all Administrative tasks, fundraising activities, meals on wheels for Seniors, and assisted with federal grant writing. She has work experience in Accounting and Banking, as well as history in the healthcare field through her employment with Cigna.
She currently serves on the Communications Committee for Philanthropy Southwest which is a nonprofit membership association of grant making organizations in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas that provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and expertise among Grantmakers. Shunnay also serves on the TItle X- Community Advisory Committee for Your Health Clinic dba Callie Clinic and the Crystal Ball Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of the Red River Valley. She is currently seeking her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Web-based Small Business Development. She has been a youth leader for over 20 years, and volunteers at numerous community centers and Boys and Girls Clubs in Bryan, Grayson and Collin Counties.
She is the wife of Kenneth Gilmore, Jr. and they have three beautiful children, Elihu (Eli), Nayshun and Jaia. Her hobbies include playing basketball, volleyball, drawing, and just staying active with her family.
