Shunnay started with the Foundation in 2010 after managing the Calera site for the Southern Oklahoma Nutrition Program where she oversaw fundraising activities, meals on wheels for Seniors, and assisted with federal grant writing. She has work experience in the healthcare field through her employment with Cigna as a Senior Customer Service Rep as well as history in Accounting and Banking.
She serves on the Communications Committee for Philanthropy Southwest which is a nonprofit membership association of grant making organizations in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas that provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and expertise among Grantmakers. Shunnay also serves on the TItle X- Community Advisory Committee for the Callie Clinic. She is currently seeking her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Web-based Small Business Development. She has been a part of youth ministry for over 20 years, and has volunteered at numerous community centers and Boys and Girls Clubs in both Grayson and Collin County.
She is the wife of Kenneth Gilmore, Jr. and they have three beautiful children, Elihu (Eli), Nayshun and Jaia. Her hobbies include playing basketball, volleyball, drawing, and just staying active with her family.
