A Nashville, TN native, Leslie’s journey to her current Brand Manager role with REBA Brands embodies her energy, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Based at Country Music queen Reba McEntire’s headquarters, Leslie personally oversees all aspects of Reba’s retail brand as one of the top managers directly responsible for all aspects of Reba’s career.
Leslie’s experience as a retail entrepreneur started with “Leslie’s Shoppe,” a high-end fashion retail store on the historic Murfreesboro square that specialized in brands for women not available at other area retail establishments. She sharpened her business acumen over several years, and soon secured funding to relocate to “The Avenue,” a then-unique outdoor shopping experience. Leveraging her education from her Middle Tennessee State University marketing degree, Leslie blossomed into a well-rounded business leader across construction planning, interior design, merchandise coordinating and general management.
Leslie’s knowledge of, and success in, the challenging brick and mortar retail environment soon led to her lucrative position at REBA Brands. Leslie’s retail experience and dedication to customer service provide an innate understanding of how shoppers develop an emotional attachment with brands. This has helped Leslie develop a successful strategy to evolve REBA Brands across 230 brick and mortar Dillard’s department stores, while building a successful online presence to reach REBA Brands merchandise shoppers around the world.
Leslie’s dedication to emotional retail has been instrumental to building excitement and increasing foot traffic within Dillard’s stores. From aesthetically pleasing points of sale to special in-store events, her vision ensures a healthy growth margin and motivated sales associates that further strengthen brand image for REBA Brands. This consistency also ensures that fans worldwide view Reba McEntire as a designer and a brand as well as a renowned musical artist and performer.
In alignment with her management and leadership qualities – which today includes managing multiple field representatives as well as overseeing all design and orders for all aspects of the brand – Leslie’s goals include learning more about music and branding, and finding ways to reach more consumers with Reba’s brand and music.
